M. D. Cooper is the NYT and USA Today bestselling creator of the Aeon 14 universe, a sprawling far-future science fiction setting spanning more than 130 novels. She began writing at eleven, right after finishing The Lord of the Rings, and has never really stopped worldbuilding since. Before writing full time she ran an ISP, managed game server operations, and worked in corporate technology leadership -- she calls herself "a maker" at heart, and Aeon 14 is the biggest thing she's made. She operates as her own publisher, writes most of the universe solo, and co-writes many of its series with other authors.
